Regarding realtime flow

Hi guru's

can u please explain me about realtime flow in SAP SD.what are all the documents u r created first,and when will u created pricing,item proposals and availability check,where and when will u assigned pricing.

Hi,

Any implementation would first start with an AS IS study which is what is our understanding of the clients business process. Followed by a TO BE and it is BLUE PRINTED, the second stage. The third one is REALIZATION where the ORG STRUCTURE is mapped, starting with the FI people with the company and company code as they are basis for the rest of the assignments. The followed by MM,SD,PP for the creation of plant sales areas and assignments. Mean the master data is also developed by the flat files with the help of endusers or people from the client business and uploaded into the production server. The consultants from various modules work on different functionalities like you said, PRICING, AV. CHECK, ITEM PROPOSALS basically the configuration part of the implementation. Then the same are tested in QUALITY and moved to production server. And in the production the master data is uploaded. This finally fits the implementation side of it.

Then it will go live and for support. All this is, a methodology suggested by SAP called the ASAP methodology which has laid down clear guidelines from scratch to finish an implmentation.

Hi Ramesh,

First of all you need to do configuration of pricing,availability check document types.

Because all the above configuration would help in running the whole sales process starting from sales order----delivery -pgibilling.

After configuration next thing which needs to be done is the creation of master data which includes customer masters,material masters and condition masters.

This material data would be copied to your process data which starts from the sales order to billing.

Configuration data is the base in order to run your process.

Hi,

Regarding the documents preparation, we prepare business blueprints wherein Business Process Master Lists will be prepared to know what procedures are followed.

Regarding Pricing, Item proposals and availability Check all these are done in the configuaration stage and the assignments will be done here.

When once all these things are over regarding each module, then unit testing , integration testing , regression testing will be done.

Then a cut over date will be arrived and finally go for golive.
