SRM 5.5 as an add-on on ECC 6.0 vs SAP SRM 5.5 server

Hi

Are there any limitations if we go with SAP SRM 5.5 Server as an add-on on ECC 6.0 compared to Implementation of SAP SRM 5.5 server on its own.

FYI-We just have one ERP Back-end system.

BTW, what is the difference between SAP SRM server 5.5 vs SAP SRM server 5.5 Plus.

Hi Yann,

We have this information from help.sap.com. We are looking at detailed information by scenarios wise, what can and can't be accomplished with this add-on.

Any comparison doc would be a help.

It seems that it's not possible to use the Extended Classic Scenario wit the Add on, please refers to note 963000.

Summary:

You can use classic scenario in Add-on.

You can use self-service procurement and SUS in Add-on.

You cannot have Sourcing and other scenarios.

No migration from Add-on to Separate server available.
