error extraction with MDM_CLNT_EXTR

Hi,

I have configured all the ALE settings to extract master data via IDoc. It works fine with Material(MATERIAL_EXTRACT), Functional location(MDM_FUNCLOC_EXTRACT). However the Equipment(MDM_EQUIPMENT_EXTRACT) is failed.

The job is cancelled with error msg:

Job started

Step 001 started (program MDM_BATCH_EXTRACT, variant &0000000000053, user ID I035776)

-> Extraction started

-> Extraction was cancelled

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE

No more info, what's wrong with that?

Oh, I just changed 'Block Size' from 10 to 1000, it works!

So what's the real meaning of 'Block Size'? Why the job was cancelled when it was 10?

To see the detailed error click on the job Log .It will give u insite into why earlier job has failed.

Also block size is for the no. of records will be sent.
