MDM API Documentation

Hi All,

Is there any documentation about the concepts used in MDM API? For example, I'm confused about the concept user session and repository session. Where can I find the documentation about it?

And is there any sample code about how to manipulate (search, modify, etc.) data? I checked the MDM tutorial but only found the administration sample like repository and table structure management.

Thanks for the overview document. I would like to have more detailed conceptual information like "what is user session, what is repository session...". In the document it is mentioned that the Java API Library Reference Guide can be found at service.sap.com/instguides. But from there I was always navigate to the same page as found at https://websmp206.sap-ag.de/mdm and I cannot find any API reference guide:-( Do you have any other ideas?
