User Authentication Failed

Hello SDN,

One of the user is gettin as "USER AUTHENTICATION FAILED" when trying to login in the portal.

I checked the user is active.

The user is in LDAP.

Does anybody has any clue what might be the reason.

Hello;

We recently upgrade to SP19 from SP16 and are experiencing this problem. Could it be possible that the problem that was fixed in SP14 is being re-introduced in SP19? Any ideas on resolution.

Basically what is happening, is that no user can change their password. If a user has an existing valid pw then they are ok...if the pw has expired then they run into this loop that the password has failed authentication.

Hi,

Possibility1:

Check if the password change should be requested was done properly.I

Possibility2:

If error "User Authentication Failed" is appearing before user credentials are passed .It may occur in SP12 or SP13.. This is rectified in SP14.

Check whether the user's credential has changed in LDAP server.
