HP OpenView DP connector

HI Expert,

We are integrating the HP Data protector software to make backup of SAP Landscape, WE are not able to open the SQL 2005 database through the HP DP connector, we are using the SAP system ID to login to SQL SErver Management Studio successfully, but i cannot connect the database instance through the HP DP connector, is there any prerequisites or any special parameter to connect the database successfully to make backup.

Hi

I would recommend you start by making sure the service account used to start the DP service is a DB Owner on the database "DEV"
