double massage in sxmb_moni

Hello,

I have scenario RFC to FTP.

When I check the massages in SXMB_MONI.

I found 1 massage that appear twice.

From the first time until the second one passed 30 minutes.

I talk with ABAP programmer that made this RFC and he tell me that is not possible to sent 1 massage 2 time.

Any idea how it possible?

Hi,

do you have multi-mapping.

Check the mapping with the payload.

We had a very strage error with multi-mapping (duplicated messages).

There is not multi mapping, Is very simple one.

For each message have a unique ID, Where I trace it back to find out where each message comes from?

just double click on the message in sxmb_moni and check the soap header main. There it will show you the sender and the time send. if it is the same message both headers must be identical. if it is different than you can be quite sure that there was a second message sent from the sending system.

Check if the Message Guid in XI is identical, if not the message was send a second time to XI and you should look for the problem in the sending system.

did you check the sender system if the message was processed twice?

when you go to SXMB_MONI you will find a colum Message ID. XI provides each message with a unique ID. If the ID's of your two messages are different you need to trace it back step by step to find out where each message comes from

Have a look to the FTP adapter monitor and check if this message is twice.

go to http://<server>:<port>/rwb/index.jsp and go to communication channel monitor.

In FTP adapter I not see all massages separately.

Hi Elad,

Im not sure but is ur RFC getting called twice or is thr a retry getting executed automatically for the message in XI. Check the outbound queue as well.
