How to work with Web Dynpros DC

Hi SDN,

I have installed sneakpreview 2004 on my system.

I am working with local webdynpro project,

Now I need to work on DCs.

I looked into NWDS help file for DCs but could'nt understand it clear.

It says to install JDI, NWDI all such.

Can any one tell me what all needed to work on DCs after installing Sneak preview.

and any PDF for configuration and developing a simple DC.

hi,

to work on DC's it not mandatory to have JDI or NWDI setup. You can work the same way as you work with <b>webdynpro project</b>. You will have the DC metadata to which you can add your external libraries.

JDI and NWDI is used for code checkin to DTR.

Hi,

As Gopi said you don't need any configurations for working with DCs.

Instead of creating a new Web Dynpro Project create a new Development Component Project.

The project structure will be the same structure as the WD proj with the addition of the DC Metadata.
