Unable to "Update CMS"

Hi all,

In the CMS Landscape Configurator, when I click on the "Update CMS", I get an error:

<b>SLD (URL http://<hostname>:<port>) server exception: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access.</b>

My SLD uid and passwords are correct as Im able to open the SLD page with the same uid and password. I also tried with CMS admin user and pwd. But no use.

Any idea which uid and pwd should be used here?

Thanks and Regards,

Reena

Hi Reena,

Check whether the userid that u r trying is assigned with the action <b>CMS.Administrate and CBS.Administrator.</b>

Hi Nagarajan,

Thanks for your reply. I have assigned the mentioned actions to a role which is assigned to the user.

Actually I solved the problem. The issue was, I had not done the Security Role mapping to the user I was using. Once I did the mapping of "LcrInstanceWriterAll" to the user, in Visual Admin, it worked.
