Auto planning in APO

Hi,

I try to use the auto planning in APO for all the levels. The system should auto plan all the levels down when I plan for the top level.

But, some materials can plan, some cannot (even though the master data and the heuristic that we use is the same). However, when I manually plan the orders for the materials which cannot auto plan, the system allow me to do so.

Why the system cannot auto plan for those materials, but allowed me to plan manually? The availability stock for those materials is already negative, by right it should auto plan for those materials.

Hopefully you are using multilevel heuristic. In the log of the heuristic in the background, what messages do you see in terms of number of location products processed?

Hi Sim,

Do you run the job for LLC (Low-Level-Code) calculation before the Heuristic?

What is your scope of planning? Network or Location?

Do you use correct selections?
