Hi All,
I just finished importing data from the old server to the new one using 4.6c and oracle 8 and
it is working well. The thing is, the size of the data from the old server was 72GB and when i imported it to the new server, the size of the data were up to 250GB. When i look at dba admin and sapdba, most of the tablespace were allocated to 90% and above especially PSAPBTABI (most of the spaces allocated to this table.).So when im doing a client copy from development to the production, i got an error saying that there were no spaces left.Is there any post installation that i missed out and what can i do to minimize the size of the database to match the size from the old server?
Hi
My experience is due to hardware reasons, the storage occupied & free space is wrongly calculated..
Talk to your storage or hardware support team..
