Consignment Module??/User exits???

Hi Guyz,

Could u plz explain what is consignment module?

what r user exits,as I am new to SAP SD, I have no idea about this.Appreciate yoour help and time?

<u>Consignment Process</u>: Business sends the goods to the customer site as consignment stock and bill the agent only for the sold goods. Steps Involved are-

1 Consignment Fill-up--( Stock delivered to Consignment agent site( no billing doc generated)

2 Consignment Issue---( Sold to end customer)

CI---->LF----->F2

3 Consignment Return---( end customer return the stock back to consignment agent)

CR------->LR

4 Consignment Pick up--( Stock picked up from agent site)

CP------>LR

USEREXITS----

EXAMPLE-: Suppose your document is blocked due to credit check. So when the concerned person in the business will try to remove that block. you can use USEREXIT to check if he is the authorized person for that task. Userexits are nothing but enhancements.
