I want to work on the WD tutorials and created a Development Component project.
I select the type Web Dynpro and enter the name "est". when i press finish, I see (in the navigator view ) the project is created. But it is not yet finished and then appears a window with the message :
org.eclipse.core.internal.resources.ResourceException: Resource /LocalDevelopmentestsap.com already exists.
I am using 7.0.10.
Help !
Kai
Just refersh the LocalComponents in your DevelopmentConfigurations perspective.
Go to project explore view and delete the project if exists and re-create again.

Hi Kai,
You will get that Exception when there is a DC with the same name(est). Just create the DC with some other name.
Note: Whenever u delete a DC/Project you should also delete the Cotenet, otherwise it will not allow you to create a DC/project with the same name.

I found a solution to my problem.
After i looked in the folders created for the DTR (which are the folders ".dtr" and ".dtc" under D:\Documents and Settings\<username> ) i found some residues from an older setup. I moved both folder in a temp file and started NWDS again.
After that i could create a DC for Web Dynpro without issues...
Thanks for everyone who responded,
Kai
