No customer is assigned to business partner

I have a BDoc in CRM that is failing because of an error being returned from R/3.

It is when a Partner function is created in CRM and sent to R/3.

The message is:

"No customer is assigned to business partner <partner number>"

This might seem the wrong forum to post this message but the error is being returned from the R/3 system.

Can anyone shed any light on where to look in R/3 to see why this is happening?

Have a look tp tcode PIDE to check the BP exchange customizing.

Hello Roberto,

i'm facing the same problem for which you provided some suggestions.

The problem is that when i assign the employee to the sold yo party (using a custom partner function), i have a BDoc in CRM that is failing and the error is: "No customer is assigned to business partner &...".

Could you give some kind of help on how to solve this problem?
