Rules, Funtion modules in Message processor determination in service desk

Dear friends,

I am looking for certain tips in creating function modules for partner determination.

Requirement is as soon as the message is created immediately message processor should be found out and assigned to the support message.

What all fields would be required ???

How would i approach the problem ??

i need some tips to create this function module.

is it possible to do without Function module???

Like if a maintain org structure properly is it possible witout org structure..

Plz dont woory abt points, full 10 points will be rewarded if my requirement is satisfied.

Hello Suzzane,

Check in SPRO the following points to get partner determination works:

- Create a Root Unit for Your Organizational Structure

- Create Organizational Objects in the Organizational Structur

- Determination Rules for Support Team

Inportant:

- Check note 997009 and 1008656 if not BP are create for your Organization units

- Ensure that you have Activate HR Integration in SOLMAN system, it is not active by default.

U mean to say that without using Function modules, my requirement as stated obove ) will be fullfilled ?????

So i just have to Run those IMG activites and then it will be done without any function modules ??

Plz answer these queries ??

Aslo i will go throug those notes and revert back.

hey dolores,

I want to learn the basics of Organazation structure, plz let me know if u have know any tutors for the same.

Also whenver we are assigning people to diffrent postions in org structure ?? we have to select Either " Business partner OR User ??

What is the significance of both of them, plz explain them in detail.
