Queues are getting deactivated

Former Member

Hiiiii Experts,

I have one problem. In my production server (R/3 as well as XI) if message is of very big size and if it will take time to process (Nearly 5-6 hrs) then queues are getting deactivated.

If i will activate all the queues then again that process will start. So can you give me the solution for that.

Please help me out as soon as possible because this is a production issue.

Thankx in advance.

Regards,

Chaitanya...

6 hours is a long time, you should also check your system performance and increase tablespace and cpu power if necessary (which I think it is).

Did you activate all your queues?? sxmb_adm->manage queues -> activate queues

Also go to smq2 and activate individual queues if any listed

Hi,

I hope try

first you have to got SXMB_ADMIN,

select option

Configure Filter for Queue Prioritization

in the next table.

Enter the size of the message payload, and activate for large mesage processing.

..

And timeout also should increased.

We can increse the no of work processes in transaction RZ04.

To see the number of work processes assigned and the status of each and every WP in transaction SM50

Hi,

Please do the following actions to rectify this..

1) Go to SXMB_ADM and check queue waiting time and modify accordingly.

Have you registered the queues?

If not goto SXMB_ADM-->Manage Queues and select all queues and then click on register queues.
