SAP data simulation in Java Web Development

Hi experts,

here's my question.

I'm going to start a new Java WAS based project. I have to publish in a website different data stored in R/3. I'm going to do this connecting to some Backend Bapis.

The "problem" is that I can't start my development until all SAP R/3 backend is installed and configured.

I was thinking that maybe I can use some other tools (based on Java or not) for simulating data and testing my application. Obviously I know that I can develop my own Java classes with testing data, but... There's any framework (like JUnit or similar) for this purpose?

Thanks a lot.

Alberto.

Well, if you are going to use Webdynpro, you can simulate the rfc model with a web service model with the same methods and structure of the BAPIs.

Un saludo.

Thanks Aníbal.

Sure, I'll develop some web service for simulating bapis.

Sure Aníbal, but for any reason I can't see the radio buttons for giving points.

Maybe any problem today here in sdn.

I'll try again tomorrow, don't care.

No tengo ni idea de porqué pasa. A mi tampoco me deja en otras preguntas. Es una pena.
