HERE THE PROBLEM IS SDM SERVER.............
in c drive sdm_home is there in that startServer.bat i run........... it shows like this below

but in my sapMMc there is no sdm node.......... what should i do?
1)in j2ee process table not showing any sdm node...........
2)in Access points there is no port no 50018 ..............??????
3)for sap connection via jco ,is sdm server is needed or not?
plz send me full details...........

Go to SDM directory in Command Prompt:
<drive>\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<inst no.>\SDM\Programs
then copy all commands mentioned below one by one.
sdm.bat jstartup "mode=standalone"
sdm.bat j2eeenginestartstop "mode=automatic"
sdm.bat jstartup "mode=integrated"
startserver.bat

its possible that sdm may have gone into standalone mode, hence it is not starting.
Navigate to the usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE_NAME>/SDM/program directory of your J2EE Engine.
sdm jstartup "mode=integrated" for Windows
sdm.sh jstartup mode=integrated for UNIX
