Hi,

Could you please give me some application or business case where SAP is connected to IP telephone (Voice over IP). like we use with PDA....

Sap CRM can connect to a wide variety of middleware. The technology is not important ie if the switch is TDM or VOIP.

hi jalal.

SAP has a NW Voice Framework which you can integrate into your business

solution. several years back, a former colleague at SAP Palo Alto gave me a

demo of the integrated VoiceXML into the CRM system; that when you have to

make a call to a certain contact person in your address list, you don't have to

search for his/her number; instead you just have to state the name of that person

and the system will lookup your contact list and dial it for you.

im not sure what's the latest updates on this field. but i guess you will find this

article interesting.
