Hi !

Can anybody guide me on how to create copying requirements and copying routines for copying control of Sales Docs to billing docs, if possible with an example.

You need to use transaction VOFM for creating equirements and routines.

Check the following link for more details with examples:

http://www.saptechsolutions.com/pdf/VOFMCopyRequirementRoutines.pdf

Couple of points to note about the same:

VOFM is the transaction where all requrements whcih are represented by form routines can be maintained. Requrements are available to be assigned where access sequenses are used (for determination procedures, here pricing).

Once the tcode VOFM is accessed you will see requrements and go select "pricing" again you need Access Key to create your own or copy a routine.

Say you want header price not to have effect the item pricing, you need to go to the program to change abap code to meet the requirement. this specific requirement you created will be assigned in the pricing proc. determination "requirements field"

Generally new requirements are created with a number beyond 600.

Note: make sure you activate your routine for its effect to take place.

Dear Gauravjit,

Two more questions, is it necessary for the SD person to take help from an ABAPer, for programing the requirements & routines or it can be done by the SD.

I have read the link you had send, on Page 3 , Section-2 Creating a new VOFM requirement, wanted to confirm the 3rd point if it done through SE38.

Let me put it this way, the responsibility of the SD consultant is to give the requirements[Functional specifications] as to the changes/enhancement needed, also provide the unit testing plan for the Technical consultant.

The ABAPer would create a Technical Spec, get it approved and make the necessary changes.

Next the functional consultant has to test the functionality

In case, the SD Consultant is a Techno-functional and knows programing, he can do the same provided he has the authorization and the access key for making the modifications.

Gauravjit
