logout from application when F5 is pressed

hi team,

I have created a web dynpro application. Now when I press F5, browser refreshes and the application restarts. Instead of that, what I want is it would again prompt for SAP user id and password like the first time when user logs in into a web dynpro application.

Is there any way to implement that?

Regards,

Mainak

well, alternatively can I create my web dynpro application in such a way that it won't store any cookies..because when F5 is pressed the application restarts because it has the login information in cookies.

If it is possible then suggest me with code

when you exit your application you need to remove ss02 cookie or kill browser.'

possible currently via javascript in SICF exit page.

Add the necessary Javascript to kill cookie on the exit tab inside transaction SICF.

The F5 key to exit is not possible, but a button is.

Not recommended for portal environments

Also not SAP's standard approach as we plan for portal use and recommend the portal

Hence we dont kill cookies or close browser when application terminates.

Perhaps in a future release a logout option will be added to WDA for non portal scenario.

Cheers

Phil.
