Data extraction - IDoc not sent out automatically

Dear all,

I just managed to connect an ERP system to XI. By running t-code BD10, the IDoc is not sent out. I have to run t-code WE19 to send it. Any idea?

Set the IDoc Partner Profile option to be "send immediately".

You have to set up the ALE Customizing properly.

Customer Distribution Model (BD64), ports, partner profiles, change pointers , RFC Destinations etc...have to be configured correctly.

Make sure you have set up the Customer Distribution Model (BD64 Transaction properly).

There you have to select the Sender System (ECC or R/3) and the Recevier system could be XI.

For ALE related configuration, search for transaction codes starting with BD

Thanks for the help. I found I incorrectly set the IDoc sending option to be "collect" instead of "send immediately".
