Dear SDN,
We are using a RFC destination (type H, HTTP) from Backend system to XI (/sap/xi/engine?type=entry). We have assigned the destination to a port in the backend system. And we have configured an IDoc with the partner profile referencing that port.
When trying to send an IDoc the following error is produced:
"Error when sending by HTTP
Message no. EA096
Diagnosis
When transferring the IDoc by HTTP, the return code with the message '500Error during parsing of SOAP header' has occurred.
The target address was: http://devxi:8001/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
Check whether the IDoc can be sent again.
It is unfortunately not possible to determine automatically whether the IDoc has in fact arrived in the target system and the error occurred afterwards."
Any ideas?
First Try this out
SM59 with Connection Type 3
Send the Idoc
Check in BD87 The Status should be 12 to ensure that IDOC has been dispatched.
If the Status is not 12 then it might be in queue and run report RBDMOIND.
Is there any specific reason why you only want to USE HTTP for sending IDOC from R3? Mostly Connection Type 3 is used.

Prashanta

When you want to send an IDOC, you have to use an RFC destination of type 3.
