Use of new table functions 2004s in webdynpro project created in 2004

Hello,

I have justed installed a test system 2004s. Now I tried to play around with our already existing webdynpro components, created in 2004. The build and deployment was successfull so far.

My doubt now is, how I can use e.g. the new table functions of 2004s. On the properties of the IWDTable I still see the "old" table attributes. Even when ading new tables, the old attributes appear. Isn't it possible to use the new functionality of 2004s in components that were created with 2004?

Or do you have any ideas?

Hi:

According my experience , you have to delete the table and/or columns and rebuild them

You have a NW04<b>s</b> IDE?

If you create a new table in a view, you don't see the new properties and context menu entries like "Insert GroupedColumn"?

Hello Armin,

right, I have a NW04s IDE. And I don't see the new properties when adding a new table.

Maybe the problem is, that the I synched the DCs from a NWDI 2004 inclusive the basic components also based on 2004. So that is probably the reason.

Anyway, thanks for your help.
