hi everybody,I really need a help.I am a beginner on SAP world;
my laptop settings:
-microsoft Win XP Média center Edition ver2002-service Pack2
-packardbell centrino-intel 1.86ghz 1Go de Ram

my laptop is standalone one therefore I don't have a network at home.when I try

yes I have solve it ,
u can deaktive the LAN from the Network,
if u have done Adapter

I think its a problem with some firewall or the AV, because when i have running avast in my pc appears the same error message and when i shut down the avast i have no problems, also there are too much post like this one with no solution, admins put an eye right there, because many of this is not listed in documentation file, or i think so, are not listed problems like this one.
If someone knows something, ill be glad to read it, and see if its causing the problem the av or what it is, i tell u one more think, my win firewall its also down, im using xp home sp3 and it works properly when the av is not running, thanks

Check whether SAP is running or not .. If not start SAP using SAP MMC and try to loging

You need a connection to an SAP Server...
Why did you use localhost...have you installed a whole SAP Server on you laptop?
