Hello Experts,
I am trying to setup a Critical Transport object in transaction /TMWFLOW/CMSCONF so that while transporting this customisation change on a View, a warning is shown. But it does not work. Has somebody faced the same problem? Can anybody share his experiences on the same?
I pass following values to generate a lock on a view table :
Specification ID 5
Object Type VDAT
Object Name V_T024D
View name V_T024D
Program ID R3TR
Object Type Table Contents TABU
Object name T024D
Object Name *
Comment D.
Short Description D.
Best Regards,
M.D.

Hi M.D.,
please keep in mind, that there exist two different "Critical Objects Check and Approval" features.
1. Change and Transport System (Transaction STMS) provides such a feature.
2. SAP Solution Manager Change Request Management provides such a feature.
In the past I created a short guide on how to setup the COA Feature for ChaRM. I hope it will help you.

Kind regards,
Peter
PS: Yes you are right, there are some technical limitations in how to define critical objects.
