404 error

hi everyone,

http://localhost:50000/

in the browser it gets error msg:

404 error request resource not found go to main

Here the server is running in green color ,,,in j2ee process table there is

icm,server0 nodes are there in green color.....

how can i see the server in the browser.....

Hello Tony,

when everything is up and running and you get the above error message I would check the following:

1. What instance number did you use to install the SAP system ? If it was 00 your port (50000) is right if not here you find the right syntax --> <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/de/a2/f9d7fed2adc340ab462ae159d19509/frameset.htm">Link</a>

2. Did you try to replace <i>localhost</i> with <i>127.0.0.1</i> ? Perhaps only the right entry in the hosts is missing.

Hello Tony,

is the "root application" (Application alias = "/" ) active?

You can see it in visual admin:

cluster -> Server 0 -> Services -> Http-Provider

and then on the right site "Application Aliases"
