Maintain relationship across two project activities?

Hi Friends,

I have been looking for a solution for "how to maintain relationships among activities of two different projects", but not able to find out the solution.

Can any one tell me is there any work around two maintain relationships among activities of differenct projects.

points can be alloted for suitable solution.

Dear Sudhakar,

Good morning and greetings.

Solution is very simple actually. You can maintain relationship for 2 different project same way as you maintain within the project activity.

Select WBS- select Network- Select Activity which you want to maintain relationship with other Project.

Select relationship button ‘Chain Symbol’

Enter activity no e.g. ‘0010’ and enter the Network no of other project also maintain relationship type

e.g.

SS relationship (Start - Start)

FF relationship (Finish - Finish)

SF relationship (Start - Finish)

FS relationship (Finish - Start)

System will make a link and dependency of two activities of two different project.

Thanks for your reply. As advised by you, maintained the relationships and working well on trail project.

Let me check when I go creation of different projects with multiple activities. Hope I am not anticipating any problem at that time.
