Hi,
I have two DCs :- DC1 and DC2. I want to add the public part of DC2 to DC1.When i select the 'Add Used DCs' option,i'm getting a popup window with DCs listed in both active and inactive tabs.I can see the public part of DC2 in both active DC and inactive DC tabs. From which tab should i select the public part to be added?
Regards,
Shabeer
Hi Shabeer,
you can select from any tab if the activity is already checked in and the component you want to access is no more changed /checkedout
but I suggest When ever you are developing application in your studio always select from inactive DC tabs, so you will get most updated in ur workspace also

Hi Shabeer,
During the development phase you need to select the DC that needs to added as Used DC from "<b>Inactive DCs</b>".So that, they will be available to checkout in order to do the changes required and then u can checkin. But if you select it from Active DCs you cannot make any changes to it.

hi,
you need to select from the <b>active</b> DC tab. When you expose the Comp of DC build it and then deploy it so that it can be accessed by the other DC.
