Alert - Email

Hi,

I have created an Alert Category and added an Alert Rule. In the Alert Category, I have used my user_id as 'Fixed Recipients'. In SU01, I have added my e-mail ID for my user_id.

Now that after executing a scenario with an error file. I am getting the Alert Triggered to my Alert Inbox but it's triggering very late. After several refresh also, the alert is not displayed. But only after 15 to 20 minutes, the alert is displayed in the Inbox. Kindly advice how to get the alerts triggered immediately.

Eventhough I have added the e-mail id to my user_id in SU01, I am not getting any e-mails about the error message. Kindly advice how to get e-mails for the alerts triggered.

Thanks.

Balakrishnan

Hi,

Is the alerts not coming to your email?

Are you using BPM for your Xi Scenario?

Go through the following links which may help you.

The SAP Help document is really good one for Alert Configuration.

Check the following things.

1 . SCOT configuration

2. Schedule background job to send alerts as e-mail.(SCOT)

3. Check alert log using SLG1.
