Shop in 3-steps Vs Shop in 1-step

Hi,

In EBP depending on the role of hte user (requester) the Shop screen appears differently. In some cases (roles) the shopping is done in 3-steps and in other cases the shopping is done is one step (that is, all the SC information is on one page).

Also, is there a way to me the display of the "Preview Approvers" and "Follow-on Document" default to table display. I notice the graphical display (the Java Applet) is slow.

Thank you,

Naing Zaw-Tun

Hi,

OSS note 890877 give you hints for table display only.

Html template SAPLBBP_PDH_WFL_100 from BBP_PREVIEW ...

Kind regards,

Yann,

The answer you gave is for my second questions. I read the OSS note, but I ma not sure what I need to do. On the logon page I checked the Assessability chekc-box, but the "Approval Preview" and "Follow-on Document" are defaulting to display graphically.

Does any one have an answer or a suggestion to my frist question?

Thanks,

Naing

Hi,

you are right when you say the shopping screen differs depending upon the roles

i.e operational /strategic purchaser - single screen

employee - three screens wizard

this design must be dependant on assumed skills of the roles.

But your question is not clear.

Dinesh,

Re-wording my question...

Is that away to have every one see the single screen SC (like for operational /strategic purchaser)? Hopefully, this will be just a configuration setting. Would be nice if user had an option on see single screen or three screens wizard.

Thanks,

Hi,

While building your roles, you just have to include both BBPSC01 and BBPSC02 in the same role.

Thus, user will have the option to select the shop screen he wants.

The role SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER has roles BPSC01, BPSC02, BPSC03,

BPSC04. User with this role see SC on one screen/page

The role SAP_BBP_STAL_EMPLOYEE has roles BPSC02, BPSC03,

BPSC04. User with this role see SC on 3 screens/pages (i.e. wizard)

How does the usr select which view?

Thanks,

Naing,

What essentially Yann is mentioning is that you would need to ask your security team to build a Z role and add the transactions BBPSC01 and BBPSC02.

Hope info helps !1

As I mentioned in my last post role SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER has T-Codes BPSC01, BPSC02, BPSC03, BPSC04. That is when I check the TCODEs for the role in SUMI, SAP_BBP_STAL_PURCHASER has those roles.

Assume thait I do createa new "Z" role and add the TCodes (BPSC01, BPSC02), how/wher does the user select which TCode to use (i.e. whether to use the 3-step or single page SC)

Thanks,

Naing

Hi,

I guess you have created your Zrole as a copy of an existing one... this is a best practice.

Each composite role is a merge of one or several single roles.

Each role contains a menu tab. This menu is displayed when user is loging on the system.

Your menu should contain at least your 2 entries with BBPSC01 and BBPSC02

Do you have any menu in your zrole ?

Kind regards,

Yann
