Hello,

Can anyone tell me how do I use a template that is in Adobe Indesign (*.indt) into MDM Publisher. I tried to use 'Import Template' in the publisher, but I donot see the exact template of Adobe Indesign in the publisher so that I can edit further in the publisher itself.

I am not sure if I am missing something

Hi Bob,

I am looking for the same info. I am new to SAP MDM and exploring the publisher. I am able to load the layout server and also installed the quark-express plugin. I am able to see the data in publisher but not the page layout. Do I need Visio for that? i currently do not have visio installed. Also i am stuck at the point where i can integrate it with The DTP application and can view some catalog or actual material which I can print. Any pointers / help in this regard will be appreciated.

You will not see the actual InDesign template in MDM. It only stores the file and then uses it when it publishes to InDesign. You will only see it once the data has been published to InDesign.
