saving model in VC

Hi,

I am in big trouble. In VC (patch 3) I can`t save model with its content. I mean that I can save model, but when I open it, it`s empty.

Can anybody help, plz?

I updated SQL server and restarted PC and now it works

Hi,

I have been experiencing a similar problem with my VC models. I can develop and deploy, but am unable to save the models. On closing the VC application, I lose every bit of data from my model.

Am just wondering what kind of an update to the SQL server resolved your issue? I have my database and VC server running on different boxes, so in saying that you restarted your PC, which server was it, VC or the SQL?

I would highly appreciate if you could throw some light on this.

Hi Vicky ,

Update your SQL Sever with SP3

And then restart the server and then it is able to save the Model.

I have also faced same problem earlier.

Now after upgraded it to SP3 , the problem is solved.

Hi,

You mean that you have a totally working installation (i.e. you created a model and deployed it etc.) and the model is not saved correctly?

Did the installation have any problems?

Yes, everythink works fine (I can deploy) except saving. Model is saved but it`s empty after reopening.

Installation was without problems.

Did you try to run the VC analyser? It's available with the installation.
