Hi,
RunTimeWorkBench resdes on the Java Stack and so allows you to see the flow of your message from the Adapter Engine ( on Java Stack ) to the Integrtaion Engine ( on ABAP Stack ), and again to the Adapter ENgine ( on Java Stack).
SXMB_MONI runs on the ABAP stack allows you to monitor the message flow only in the ABAP stack / Integration Engine.

Hi,
Correct as bhavesh said,
Runtime Workbech is on JAVA stack, it is a integrated monitoring tool contains
component monitor,message monitor,end to end monitor,performance monitor,alert configuretion,alert inbox,cache ...
This can be accessed by login to RWB from XI integration builder home page.
this from sender service to integration engine and integration engine to receiver service
But where as SXMB_MONI is for Integration Engine monitoring tool, message flow ,execution in IE .You can monitor pipe line process here but not in RWB.

Hi,
RWB: is a tool of monitoring XI and all of its components, process and messages centrally. It provides Component Monitoring, Message Monitoring, End to End monitoring and Performance Monitoring.
SXMB_MONI: is the tran code to check the messages.

Hi Planati,
Both RWB and Sxmb_moni are both used for monitoring purpose only...where as when take Runtime workbench you can have different options which xi provides...like component monitoring,Performance monitoring,End to End monitoring, message monitoring...etc..but where as in sxmb_moni you can able to see the xml messages only.
Please let me know if you any queries..
Thanks and Regards,
Sekhar
