How to delay the license days in XI-NW2004s?

Former Member

I have successfully installed the XI-NW2004s,but only used in 30days.

I think I can adjust time back to setup day to use longer. To my disappointed, there were many j2ee service failed in Visual J2EE administrator.

How to delay the license days in J2EE service ?

Can I install a temp license in Tcode "slicense" just like Minisap developer?

Thx !

points will be award !

Hi Raymond,

You need to make sure that the date to which you are changing should be greater then the date of installation. why don't you try this

1.Use SU01 transaction to find the date when the user was created.

2. Now change the system date to that particular date or one day greater.

Make sure all the instances of 2004's are down before changing the system date.

once done restart the system.

That should work.....

Hi,

Shutdown the all instance of 2004s, and change the system date and restart try to work.

Even though not solved, try uninstall and reinstall .

Hi,

You can do that, by setting ur system date one month back, restart your system and you can also deploy all failed service.

Hi Raymond,

I dont think we need license for J2EE. If you just get back the date to the day 2004s is installed .it should work.

But we need to make sure the server should be down when u r making the changes in the date.

Thanks and Regards,

Chandu.

I'm sure the server not to start when I change the date back to one month ago.

But I can't start the all service in j2ee admistrator. It's display the j2ee_admin has no authority to start service.

Then I changed to date to the current days. It's successful to run j2ee_admin services.

Hi Raymond,

Plz speak to ur admin guy, who has installed ur system for the specific date.... you can do that, no doubt in that.. Believe me, every time i am keeping my system date the same date and i am able to work on that.
