Implementing TPVS Scenario

Hi All,

We are implementing <b>TPVS</b> and have the following requirements.

1. 1000 resources / MoT / profile.

2. 4 MoT per profile

3. 25 optimiser profiles

4. 100-150 location 2 per profile

We would be running tthis concurrently around 19 branches.

Would like to know if anyone has implemented TPVS with similar landscape.

If so, would like to know any critical issues faced.

Hi,

These are some of the most critical issues.

1. Number of Resources per MoT. This would depend on the maximum number of trucks available per truck type.

2. Master Data. The number of permutation and combinations of all the linkages in form of t lanes play a big role.

Then you need to decide on the form of your master data. eg. Plant to Customer lane or tzone to customer etc.

3. Pseudo costs considered for the optimizer. These are the costs considered by the optimizer. Deciding upon these costs can be tricky.
