Hi All,
The alert inbox in my PI 7.0 system is visible from the RWB. But when I call the t-code ALRTINBOX, I get a screen for me to choose the language, I execute it I get the error message "error in alert inbox".
I have looked at SICF, the services are active. I have run out places to look and notes to read. It is strange because I can see it in the rwb, just the t-code does not take me to the page.
Anyone with any ideas.

I set "RFC Destination for Central Alert Server" to NONE as was suggested in help.sap.com and it worked.

did u activate the alert service in SICF
also Try running report TOUCHSRC, enter program name
CL_BSP_ELEMENT_CT_ATTR_VALID==CP, and press Execute.
