Hi Gurus,

Version: EP7 SPS8, Adobe SPS8 - Installed and working fine.

I am not sure whether this error is happening becoz of WebDynpro settings or coz of Adobe forms but I am not able to see my Adobe forms from the Portal end. The following is the error which I am encountering. Please throw some light on the same.

Hello,

can you please check, what happens if you call the url:

http://<javahost>:<javaport>/AdobeDocuementServices/Config

page than choose: Test -> rpData.

Press the button send without entering any value.

Enter the ADSUser and its password when requested.

Does the version Information occures?

What is the exact result?

Hi Dezso,

My ADS is running fine. Actually it is a different server(Standalone) my R/3 box is different and my Portal box is different. So when I am calling the Adobe Forms of MSS PCRs or ESS Conduct of Business. I am getting the above mentioned errors. Also I have done a check of all the tests which are mentioned in the Config Guide for ADS. They are all fine and working, but when I try to see it on the Portal it is givinig me the below errors.

Please help at the earliest any pointers appreciated.

are you sure you have setup the ADSUser in the ADSProxy correctly for the webdynpro?

Copy from the Config Guide:

Procedure

To set up Basic Authentication in a Java environment:

...

1. Log on to the Visual Administrator. (See How to Start the Visual Administrator [Seite 54]) . 2. On the Cluster tab, choose Server <x> &#8594; Services &#8594; Web Services Security

3. Choose Web Service Clients &#8594; sap.com > tcwdpdfobject &#8594; com.sap.tc.webdynpro.adsproxy.AdsProxy*ConfigPort_Document.

4. From the Authentication list, select BASIC.

ADSUser 5. In the User and boxes, enter as Username and a Password. Password

6. Choose Save.

7. The authentication data must be activated. For doing this navigate to Services &#8594; Deploy.

9. Choose sap.com/tcwdpdfobject in the tree.

10. Choose Stop Application.

11. For restarting the application choose . Start Application

HI Friends!!!!!!!!

even after confuguring the Document Service then Restarting the Server then testing the ADS still gives me same error then updated the entries of web service security also then in deploy stopped and started the service as explained...

but still m getting the same error!!!!!!!!!!!

kindly help me in this

These are steps which you need to carry out else redo the steps of ADS again. Check the RFC as well.
