Hi,
We would like to upgrade our JDK to support 64-bit Kernel on Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise x64 Edition. System running on IBM x346 EM64T processor. We are running SAP Netweaver 2004s SR1. Pls advise which JDK to use and steps to upgrade the ABAP Kernel and Java. We are using Kernel 700 32-bit and we would like to Kernel 700 64-bit.
Thank you.

procedure (homogenious system copy) is described in note <a href="http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/960769">960769</a>.
You cant upgrade a 32 Bit Windows Installation to 64 Bit - therefore you need to install the operating system new --> homogenious system copy.
regards
Peter

Hi!
That 's a little tricky indeed.
Here the cheat for the OSS note puzzle leading to the download:
709140 -> 716604 -> 716604 -> 941595
