Hi
Enterprise Buyer professional scenarios
Enterprise Buyer professional edition has the ability to run independently of any Materials Management (MM) backend system, as this functionality is included in the component . This allows a stand-alone deployment of the solution, resulting in increased flexibility in the deployment of heterogeneous business scenarios. Additionally it provides greater independence of the existing infrastructure, with further accelerated implementation times in standard or complex environments.
Following scenarios are available:
 Classic Scenario: Enterprise Buyer professional edition communicates the main business processes to the customers backend system where requisitions, purchase orders, and reservations are handled.
 Decoupled Scenario: The customer has a productive backend MM, but wants to handle parts of the process locally and other parts within the backend MM. This means that for instance specific shopping cart items create purchase orders or requisitions with all follow-on processes in the backend ERP MM while others are processed locally. For example, all items for non-production goods could be processed locally to profit from the reduced cycle times and costs while all other items are processed in the backend.
 Extended classic Scenario: The customer uses EBP to handle the complete Procurement process within EBP. The customer does have one or more productive backend MM Systems and want to use their Material Management capabilities like stock keeping etc. EBP is the leading system sending copies of the created Purchase Orders to the backend. Goods receipt and invoices can be pre-entered within EBP and will be sent to the Backend System.
 Standalone Scenario: The customer does not have a productive MM system and wants to handle the entire processes locally on an Enterprise Buyer professional edition component linked only to an accounting system. As such all validations and objects are handled directly within Enterprise Buyer professional edition. This greatly reduces the need for integration between systems.
Hope it wil help.
Pls reward suitable points.
Regards
- Atul
