Administrator password

Hi,

during the installation of the WEB AS 6.40 Preview from the SAP Press-Book I cannot set the Administrator password, so I have to accept the preset values.

But somehow I have NO idea what the initial Administrator Password is.

Any ideas where to get this information from ?

In the german version of the Sap Press book it is

"sappress".

Frank, perhaps is this too easy and/or you alread tried it out: user admin, password admin? Tiest. Other option is to download the Sneakpreveiw version available here on the SDN. In that version you definately can set your password(s).

Hola Tiest,

well the version I'm using comes with a 180-Day-Trial-License and I don't wanna go through the installation again, I already spent my whole weekend to set everything up.

Maybe I should try the admin/admin - tip. There is a User and Password preset during the installation and if you try to change it the installation stops with an error because the installation routine couldn't set this property :-(.

I guess the best idea is to write one of those guys who wrote the SAP WEB-AS Programming Book a email.
