In MI what does term 'moblie devices' actually mean.Is it mobile we use .

Hi Pankesh,

Yes, It is the mobile devices we use to run/execute MI applications.

For now MI client runs on

1. PDAs and smartphones which has PPC 2004 or WinCE 5.0. and

2. Laptops

But for right now MI client does not run on J2ME, Symbian based devices.

To add on, MI applications like MAM Webdynpro are implemented on Blackberry.

Dear Pankesh,

In MI mobile devices means PDA,PAM etc.

PDA--Personal digital assistant.

It may not be exactly mobile which we use.

SAP MI supports only few mobile devices can find the information from below:

Hi Pankesh,

For MI mobile device is anything that has MI client on it - can be PDA, Tblet PC, Blueberry device, mobile phone, laptop, desktop... as long as it can synchronise wiht MI server.

Hi Pankesh,

For MI client to run on a mobile device,the device should have either windows mobile 2003(pocket pc 2003) or Windows Mobile 2005 OS.

For Laptops/Desktops it can be Windows XP or Windows 2000.
