Can not reinstall with development studio

Yesterday I lost my management console (do not ask why, the link on the desktop did't work) and I decided to reinstall the server. New installation was successfull but it was installed only sapdb and the instance JP1. I am missing Development Studio! I got no error message, the server is running OK, just the development tool was not installed. I repeated re-installation with fresh downloaded files, deinstalled all other SAP products like SAPGui, purged all SAP entries in the repository - without success !? Please do not tell me I should reinstall Windows

Hi Robert, I believe NWDS is a seperate install, at least it was with older versions of the java engine.

Are you installing a sneak preview?

No, it is not sepatrate install! DevStudio is budled with J2EE 5. I think it is installer issue - now it works, I did following:

1. Installed fresh new installation, I got C:\SAP\JP1 only (of course sapdb too)

2. Recovered C:\SAP\DevStudio from backup

3. Deinstalled, everything was perfectly purged from disk

4. Reboot

5. New installation - and it works.
