Hi .
Can some one please shed some light on these topic.
1. what is KPRO and what does it do . My company has SAP Content server siiting in EP and what i am trying to figure is how R/3 is talking to EP. IS kPRO used for that or some other mechanism is used to communicated between the ECC AND EP ( i just joined this company and they have no documentationa bout this).

KPro is nothing but
Using the interfaces (BAPIs) to the Document Management System (DMS) you can use Knowledge Provider (KPro) to store reports and report templates outside the SAP system. This reduces the memory capacity load on the SAP database. You can specify for each document type whether you want to use KPro. When you activate storage with KPro, all new documents are stored in the corresponding storage system.
