Where can I see Garbage Collection File on AIX system

Can someone direct me to the location where all log files are located on J2EE Server of XI ?. I'm partilarly interested to see Garbage Collection File.. Thanks

Hi -

You can see the GC activtiy in the <i>std_server<x>.out</i> file within the <i>work</i> directory located at:

/usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<XX>/work

The <i>-verbose:gc</i> should be enabled for the GC activity to appear (e.g. within the Config tool). Having this parameter enabled is the SAP recommendation in any case, so hopefully it's enabled and you can see the GC output. Check Note 723909 and 716927 for further details.
