Delete a Namespace Quickly

In order to remove a namespace you have to remove all objects in that namespace. Is there a way to select all objects and delete them in one action instead of deleting each one separately?

hi,

as far as I know you cannot do that

but you can activate the deletion for all objects at once:)

Hey,

I dont think you can delete your namespace in one CLICK when it has objects developed in it.

you need to First delete the datatypes "ExchangeFaultData" and "ExchangeLogData" all of your objects under namespace and then only you can delete the namespace .

thanks,

Hi Cory,

you can achieve that via <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e8/e8573ba5f13048be50532fc3fcea9c/content.htm">release transfer</a> to a dummy SWC. Choose the right namespaces. Delete your original SWC. Reimport it. Release the namespaces to the reimported component. Delete the dummy.

Not really recommendable. Too dirty

Hi Cory -

As mentioned, the namespace and all the objects within cannot be deleted in one shot.

However, (and perhaps you know this already), what helps is that you can use the <shift> or <crtl> key to select/highlight mulitple objects under a node at once, then right-click and delete.

Cory,

You cannot delete the namespace. First you have to delete all the objects in the namespace and then you can delete the namespace. If you have even one object also existing you will not able to delete the namespace.
