Newer Version in XI

Hi. Good morning. I want to know the latest version of XI that is being used by the companies now. I heard about SAP XI 2.0 and 3.0. I also heard from somebody that SAP XI 7.0 is now available in the market. Is that True ? What are the versions that are available in SAP XI ? when did they come into existence ? What are the differences between older and newer versions in SAP XI ? please pass this information to me. Thank you. Gowtham..

Hi,

currently XI 7.0 is in use (it has the same componets as XI 3.0)

as it's just runs on a new engine

Hi,

Just to add, latest version is PI 7.0 and Support Pack 10. It is in netweaver 2004S stack.

the same In NetWeaver 2004 stack it is XI 3.0 and Support Pack is 19.

The latest version is PI 7.0(XI is renamed as PI(process integration)). But Its not necessary that all customers are using PI 7.0 now, I have seen some of the customers still using XI 2.0. Regardless of the version, the architecture of XI is same and that you should be focussing on.

Yes the the latest version PI is available in the market.Which is part of Netweaver 2004s

At present XI 3.0 and PI (which is actually XI 7.0) are avaialable and both the being used by companies across the globle.

From functional point, there is no difference between XI3.0 and PI7.0. There are changes only wrt SP. For every SP release on PI7.0 a corresponding SP for XI3.0 is also released.
