color logo printing

Hi,

I have a problem with a color logo in smartforms. I uploaded a color image which I converted into 256 colors in order to avoid any SAP conversion problems. (It also solved a grey background problem).

Everything about the image is defined in color. I use it in a form, and when I do a print preview, on the preview the logo is in color. When I print, the logo comes out in black.

The printer prints other (nonSAP) things in color perfectly. What am I doing wrong ?

Thx, Micol

Hi,

can check in Transaction code SPAD and double click on your SAP Printer, you will get a screen there you have 4 buttons, there in the Output Attributes buttin, you have an option like Color printer .. check that

Hi Micol,

Sometimes 256 colors creates problem. If the solution suggested by Sudheer is not working then try saving logo as .tif & Take a test printout. Check weather it is working or not?

hi,

this is absolutely the printer problem.jst check the printer settings such that it recognises the 256 color images. this is the only solution.
