ITS and Red Hat

My SAP R/3 App server is the latest distrubution of Red Hat. Is ITS compatable with Red Hat? I'm not sure of the version of ITS that i have.

Hello Tequila,

if you are using SAP Integrated ITS (on WAS 6.40 or 7.00), you do not need to worry about that - it will run on all platforms the WAS itself runs on.

If you are using SAP ITS 6.20, see note 325616 and

http://service.sap.com/pam -> SAP NETWEAVER -> SAP NetWeaver components (before SAP NW 04) -> SAP WEB AS -> SAP WEB AS 6.20

Then change to tab "Operating Systems" and there to "ITS".

The operating system you run your application server on does not really come into the picture in that case - you should install the ITS on a separate server anyway.
