Hi,
I would like to know how a checkbox can be displayed in a smart form and what is the condition or flowlogic thats required inorder to show the checkbox as "selected"(means a tick mark).I have tried the <697>.but it din help me.
please suggest me with full description.

You can try with <697> it will display the checkbox as selected.
you wont find it in print preview,you can find it in printout.

In your text node hit the Text Editor button.
Now go to Include - > Characters -> SAP symbols.
Here you will find a selected checkbox and an empty square that you can use.
You will need to include Conditions on the text nodes to decide whether to print the selected checkbox or the empty square.

I'm not sure what logic you will be using, but let's assume that if your variable "v_myvar" is equal to X then you want to print the text node.
In the Conditions Tab of the Text Node put
Field Name = v_myvar
Click on the next field which is the Relational Operator and choose '='.
In the next field which is the Comparison Value type 'X' (with the single quotes).
Now whatever is in your Text Node will only be displayed if v_mvar = 'X'.
